Our goal is to use local Catskill region sheep wool to produce wool products which can be sold by the local farming community, and other companies interested in promoting American made products.
The raw wool is collected from local Catskills Sheep Farmers, processed in commercial facilities in the USA, and the final product 100% Catskills Wool is knitted in a fourth generation knitting factory in Plainfield, New Jersey. Our signature ribbed hat is tinted with Black Walnut, Golden Rod, Avocado seeds and Tea, we do not use any chemicals.
We would like to grow our local wool production and find partners to market our products, with an end result of supporting the local farming communities in the Catskills.
